More about
As a free-lance lecturer, I spend as much of my time working as a current professional in the industry, as I do with the students. This allows me to go from mixing a film on one day, to discussing the exact challenges faced and the techniques used to overcome them in the classroom the next day. I do my best to hold the students to a very high level in order to prepare them for the professional environment. In a world where technology is advancing every day, I believe that is it vital to keep adapting the content and learning methods to keep up with the industry, therefore I put a lot of effort into bringing new material and information to the Pro Tools and Audio-Post courses that I am involved in.
Outside of ASE, I have over 10 years of experience working in the Audio Post-Production industry on both the audio and videos sides, primarily in audio for Broadcast Television. However, I have worked on productions in roles ranging from recording voice overs, to running live motion graphics. My main focus is on Dialogue Editing and Mixing, which I was drawn to because of it’s importance in any video production. I have worked on shows for brands like Amazon, Disney and Nat Geo Wild to name a few.
