Audio Mixers 6

The architecture of a large format analog mixing desk is described.
Various signal flow and configuration variations of generic analog audio mixers are discussed.
Variations of the generic mixer are described and the application of these variations is discussed in the contexts of music recording, sound reinforcement and broadcasting applications.
The course goes on to describe the differences between analog and digital mixing desks in terms of signal flow and architecture.
The operation of specific common models is then discussed
