This course covers advanced theory and characteristics of transducers. It covers microphone theory in detail, goes on to describe specific examples of complex microphones and other pickup systems and further describes techniques for using these microphones in a variety of situations. Demonstrations of setups and practical techniques are covered in the tutorial sessions.
