Dr. Sheldon Leal is one of South Africa’s most highly qualified music academics, holding a PhD in Curriculum Development for Music Education. With extensive experience as a voice coach, UN speaker, and media commentator on SAFM, ENCA, and Metro FM, Dr. Leal brings deep insight into the music business, education policy, and artist development.

As Academic Registrar at ASE, he oversees curriculum design, quality assurance, and the integration of global best practices into all ASE programmes. His passion lies in empowering students through music entrepreneurship, rights education, and career-focused learning.
